About Us
CollectorMagic.com Collectible Phone Card Department is the outgrowth of the
Sears Phone Card Department that was a Mail-Order / FAX Order / E-Mail order
business in Orlando, FL, and licensed by Sears, Roebuck & Co. through
January, 2000. We began as a Sears, Roebuck & Co. licensee in November,
1977 - dealing in stamps, coins, precious metals, coin jewelry, and related
items.
Note that we are still mail-order only. Though we have an office and a
warehouse, we do not have a display, nor any walk-in traffic.
Our online pricelist now contains over 14,000 entries of mostly USA cards, and
includes over 11,000 color pictures. A printed pricelist is no longer
available, since it would exceed 500 pages. It was similar to this
Website, but the website has current information. This website is sorted by
phone company, and lists more than 200 different telephone companies including AT&T
and the Regional Bell Operating companies, all the way through Vista-United
(the formerly Disney-owned telecommunications Company). Our original 130+
page pricelist was snail-mailed free upon request, until it became just too
expensive to do so. Now, we issue an abridged version for $5. (refundable
with first order) showing over 1650 color photos with prices (no
descriptions - just prices & pictures - because the descriptions are on
this website). To get your copy, please provide your name, postal mailing
address, phone number, and payment information. Actually, if you click on
the Photo Pages link at the top of any page here, you'll be able to see the
individual photo pages that we can physically mail to people.
Our website is now state-of-the-art, with a fully searchable database (over
14,000 records) and more than 11,000 phone card scans. We even chose to picture
some cards that we may not have in stock for sale (they're only in our
reference collection), though 95% of the cards ARE available for sale.
We'll continue to improve our website and its content as time goes on.
Steve Schwartz is the Manager of the business. He was listed as the
Editorial Consultant on the title page of the 1997 standard Moneycard
Catalog (over 850 pages) - that is still used as the world's main reference
guide for USA and Canadian phone, cash, and transit cards, and was listed
as a special contributor to the AT&T section. Mr. Schwartz has also lead
workshops about collecting and dealing in phone cards.
If you're a phone card company, dealer, manufacturer, printer, or collector
and you want to sell your phone cards; please contact us... we're
interested in buying them!
