This set of six collectible phone cards is the exclusive 1993 NYC Christmas issue by Hallmark for Sprint. It features charming holiday-themed illustrations and greetings that evoke the warmth and spirit of the Christmas season. The artwork includes elves, Christmas trees, stars, snow scenes, and festive decorations, all designed to celebrate the joy of keeping in touch during the holidays.

One card shows two elves in green outfits and red hats placing a large golden star atop a Christmas tree branch. Another card depicts a snowy, peaceful scene with a cozy house lit from inside, accompanied by the greeting, “Home is never more than a thought away.” A third card features a person in red and white striped pajamas and a sleeping cap, holding a telephone receiver with the message, “Please call or it'll be a humbug Christmas.” Another phone card illustrates a cheerful green-clad elf sipping from a holiday-themed cup next to a red rotary phone with the words, “It means so much to keep in touch at Christmas.”

The collection also includes a card showing a close-up of evergreen pine branches decorated with a pinecone and a red ribbon bow, with the heartfelt message: “Life’s ornaments are blessings, and they may be great or small, but the blessing of true friendship is the dearest one of all.” The last card features a black vintage telephone receiver lying on a cream background with the poetic lines: “Memories know no distance— they reach across the years where time and space are all one place and distance disappears.” Each card carries succinct and warm seasonal messages, emphasizing the importance of connection and friendship during Christmas.
