These four collectible phone cards are part of the Labo Test Cards series issued by New York Telephone, a subsidiary of NYNEX. Each card prominently displays the label "Labo Test Card" and a dollar value in the upper right corner: $1, $5, $10, and $20. The cards are printed with clear, instructional text that outlines the procedure for use: lifting the receiver and inserting the card, making a call, the display of card value during the call, hanging up to complete the call, and a punch hole that indicates approximate card value.

All cards are branded with the logos of New York Telephone, Mitsui USA, and Tamra. The New York Telephone logo includes the wording "A NYNEX Company" beneath it.
