This set of five collectible phonecards, dated 1993, features detailed and artistically rendered images of animals known as the Big Five, native to South Africa. Each card displays one of these iconic species in a naturalistic setting, surrounded by vegetation and landscape elements that emphasize their habitat.

The first card showcases a white rhinoceros standing prominently in dry grass with a reddish rocky outcrop in the background. Its textured skin and characteristic horn are clearly defined with realistic shadows and highlights. The second card features a majestic male lion with a full mane, positioned on grassy terrain under a greenish-yellow sky, with sparse branches framing the background.
